At Hawai‘i Community Foundation (HCF) we believe that change can happen when we understand the challenges that face us and work together to find and implement equitable solutions to those challenges.

The CHANGE Framework was created by identifying six essential sectors, or areas, that affect the overall well-being of our islands and people—from our economy to education. A shared set of statewide data points tell the story of what is happening within each area. By tracking this data and working with public and private partners, we are identifying the gaps, opportunities and solutions to make Hawai‘i a better place to live for all of its residents.
